FBT Bank & Mortgage | Cyber Security Awareness AlertTo our valued customers:Fraud is on the rise worldwide, fraud attempts usually involve an introductory text message attempting to confirm fake transactions. If a customer replies that this isn’t familiar to them, they receive a call from someone impersonating a bank representative. Through conversation, the impersonator attempts to convince the customer to provide the credentials they need to access the customer’s digital banking account. The fraudsters then use P2P to transfer funds from the customer’s accounts to their own. Please do not respond to any text messages, or click on any links in text messages. If you receive a phone call just hang up and call your local branch.
